Whilst we hesitate to use the word unique, La Rupe is certainly a most distinguished property amongst the very few large properties available to rent in Le Marche. Its previous use as a small country hotel is the reason why there are 10 bedrooms, 7 of which have en-suite facilities.

The house can sleep a maximum of 18 adults; by arrangement extra single beds could accommodate more children if required. Please contact us to discuss any particular requirements your party may have.

La Rupe has a general air of spaciousness and is set in peaceful and secluded grounds, nestled beneath the imposing rock of Montefalcone. Behind the house an ancient mediaeval track presents a twenty-minute challenge to get to the village on foot with stunning views to both mountains and sea. Otherwise, you can drive the one and a half kilometre trip by car. Montefalcone has two bars, a post office, general store and chemist. More varied shopping is 15 mins by car.

La Rupe has an existing tennis court which may be refurbished in 2004. There is a brand new swimming pool. There is also table tennis, and a further legacy of the former hotel use is a small children’s play area with swings, roundabouts etc.
