Casa Santoni is a beautiful old farmhouse set in its own olive grove in a very quiet and sheltered valley in the rolling rural landscape of Le Marche. It has been lovingly restored and equipped to the highest standard whilst still maintaining all its characteristic original features. There is spacious accommodation for up to 12 people.

A major feature is the 50ft swimming pool. With a good deep end and diving board it has been built with very serious swimmers in mind! Surrounded by paving, lawn and olive trees it gets day long sunshine. There is also a covered terrace for al fresco meals.

The ground floor accommodation is situated in the original cantina, used years ago for winemaking. The original brick arches which are so characteristic ensure that the area is cool and atmospheric. Hand made terracotta floor tiles preserve the same feeling. At one end is a well equipped open- plan kitchen with a door which leads directly out onto the terrace. Although there is a second sitting room on the first floor, it is here, by virtue of the spaciousness and open plan aspect, that it is pleasurable to prepare and enjoy your meals. With glazed double doors giving direct access to the garden terrace and poolside one hardly needs to move all day.

On the first floor is a second sitting room with open fireplace (perfect for winter breaks) and original beamed ceiling, main bedroom, ensuite bath- room, second double bedroom with shower room.

On the top floor is a double bedroom, 3 twin rooms and bathroom. Bathrooms are all spacious, tiled , with fittings of excellent quality. There is a shower room and laundry on the ground floor.

The nearby village of Paterno is handy for basic shopping. Tolentino, an attractive town, has a wider range of shops and facilities. The charming old spa town of Sarnano has a market, restaurants and thermal baths open for treatments all year.
